snags a little too often but is well worth the money. |

The good: For a few dollars more than a typical 150yard spool you can get 10 times more. The spindle worked fine on my brother 2600 which is not made to take these size spindles. It flopped around a bit but worked great. The thread is STRONG. Really strong. Denim strong. The bad: The kerfting doesn't seem to have taken very well and it unravels easily. Several times I had it bunch up in a ball behind the needle in a knot that moved. IE string coming ut of needle looked normal, string going into needle looked normal, but right at pin hole it twisted into a ball. It's not very grabby, very low friction. This makes it easier for the bobbin to come unspooled and cause tangles. I had to throw out 1 bobbin that jammed every single time. I guess I needed to spin it tighter when I made it. REspooled the bobbin and it worked fine even though it looked the same. I went through 3 bobbins worth of sewing so far, probably 15 yards of stitching with four or 5 times that distance in over stitching and reinforcement stitches. Had 3 tangles, and the balling up problem happened 3 times. I would buy it again. These little snags can be prevented with skill and it's too strong and too cheap to pass up for such a large amount. Great value.

I use this thread to do sew in's on hair. It holds so much better than thread. From a beauty supply store.

Black Bonded Nylon Sewing Thread 1500 Yard Size T70 |

I had to do some research to find out what "T70" means, and to make sure it would be usable in my sewing machine. It seems to be just about the largest diameter thread that a simple home sewing machine can handle, so that's great for what I need to do. Beyond that, it's twisted nice and tight, making it very smooth, so it goes through the machine easily; also, I couldn't break it by hand no matter what I did to it, so it's certainly strong! It's actually more like a thin cord, than "thread". It's actually significantly better than I had expected, which is a nice surprise :) I'm strongly considering getting more of this in additional colors, because I'm always coming up with one or another new craft or whatnot to try making, and as versatile as this is due its qualities, I think I'll find many uses for it in the future.

    Tactical gear grade threading |

This thread feels and looks like the factory threading used on my tactical vest and nylon gear bags. The nylon is very strong and abrasive resistant just like the factory threading. It may even be identical but there are no concrete specs to compare. Its definitely great to have on hand for any repair work that may be needed.

Works very well for installing extensions/weaves. And the spool lasts a VERY long time! |

I bought this to use for my extensions. Nearly 10 years ago I'd purchased a spool of Nylon thread online from my favorite hair vendor and was impressed at the difference the thread made. This thread is a great buy. I prefer nylon thread as it doesn't tangle, glides through the hair smoother and is a bit stronger than the traditional thread you buy in beauty supply stores. As a bonus.. if you ever need to sew something.. this thread works very well. I did have it snap on me twice, as I was pulling the needle through, I'm not sure what that was about. But other than that.. I finished my hair and this thread worked beautifully and I know it will hold my tracks securely and beautifully. If you wear extensions and have not yet made the switch to nylon thread.. you really should. Aside from that.. I expect this large spool to last me several years. Tremendous value!

This nylon thread is amazing... I like to use it for doing hair (sewing weaves) & works even better for than the cotton thread. This is because it's very hard to break unless you cut it. It has elasticity and holds my stitching well.

Really strong thread!! Very large spool. |

I am making some of my own outdoor gear with ripstop nylon fabric, and needed a really strong thread for those projects. This three is great. You cannot pull it and break it like other threads. Only downside is the size of the spool. It's too large for my sewing machine. I have a fairly new singer, it has a vertical spool holder as well as one that lays sideways. The vertical is for loading the bobbin. This spool was still too tall and the base too wide to fit on my machine. So I hand loaded the thread onto a smaller spool, (actually I made my mom do this) once on the smaller spool it worked great. I also bought a denim needle thinking I would need it for the stronger thread, but that was unnecessary. This thread is still thin, yet strong. The heavier needle only made the holes in my fabric bigger than necessary, so I switched back. I've included a picture showing the size of the spool compared to a regular spool. Seems like this size is more suitable for an industrial machine, or maybe there is an attachment for my singer I don't know about.

    great for leather |

A lot of string which is exactly what i needed, and you don't have to worry about it breaking every time you make adjustment on the sewing machine.

I brought this because I was tired of buying tiny spools of cotton thread from the beauty salon. When buying it I didn't realize the material would be so "strechy"... this made me skeptical. .. when I tugged on the thread it felt completely durable... I installed even though I was worried and I must say this works way better than cotton thread. .. its less agitating .. great buy?

Really nice thread, and plenty of it. I use it for hand-stitching leather of all types. Check it out, I've sewn water buffalo hide moccasin sole, deer skin tunic sleeves, buffalo skin gloves and trousers, mink and coyote pelt, and cowhide all with this thread. The bonding agent makes it handle much nicer.
