    Great sewing thread |

My husband's canvas wall tent has a huge tear from one end to the other. I am using this to sew it up and it is wonderful! Flexible, easy to use and no waxy mess. Definitely works for any outdoor sewing project.

Its threaded wax. Not too much to say here. There's a little more wax on the thread than I'd like, but its not horrible. One thing of note is the item in the picture is not what I received. The thread I got is on a spindle.

Extremely strong and fine thread. I used this to sow some leather pouches together for practice in hand-making leather crafts. I am no expert, and only a starter, but I can say from my current experience that this thread has worked perfect for my needs.

Perfect for working heavy leather or stringing heavy beads and making chokers of horn. |

It is important for me to be able to split these waxed threads because I use them in sewing beads to leather. The wax protects the thread from cutting and the polyester is tough and doesn't stretch. However, Tandy has one that is easier to split, this one from the Leather Factory is perfect for thick hard leathers for shoe repair or making. I also use it for making buffalo horn choker necklaces. The dark color is perfect for the dark beads. Another thing I like is that it fits the Sewing Awl needle without struggle! Always great for a lady who often struggles with such and easy task for most!.

    great bookbinding thread! |

The thread was a bit thick and waxy, but it was good to work with and the stitches look nice. I enjoyed working with it. The only thing that disappointed me was that I wasn't offered the option of combined shipping. Other than that, I would order this again.

The leather itself is good for bracelets and light tasks |

I got this as a gift for my Dad, for him to have something to mess with as he sat in his recliner. He never really messed with it, but, I did. The leather itself is good for bracelets and light tasks, but, it isn't quite strong enough to stand up to being replacement shoe laces like I had tried to use it as. That is more of my own fault then a fault of the product.

Perfect for leather sewing techniques |

Perfect for leather sewing techniques. Strong and since it's waxed makes it perfect for sewing leather. I use a awl first to make the holes even easier to get through. Just make sure you get the right needles. Would recommend this product for any sewing needed for leather. Arrived quickly

Looks great with Tandy's darker brown leather stains |

Looks great with Tandy's darker brown leather stains. After a while, it all unraveled into a mess but I can't fault it for that. It's just how it goes. I have had some problem with it fraying, and coming out of my fastening features at the end. It may just be due to my amateur practices, but it's worth noting. Over all, I recommend it.

Good Looks With Poor Breaking Strength. |

Larger diameter than my other hand-stitching threads, but breaks easily. Even if I pull through the edge of a beeswax block 2 or 3 times, too easy to break, especially when tying a square not at the end of my stitching.
