Works great for AR coating removal! |

I bought this product to remove the AR coating from my polycarbonate eyeglass lenses. It worked beautifully! Highly recommend! If I use the left overs to etch some actual glass, I'll post another review:)

I know the seller and manufacturer aren't endorsing this product to remove the anti-glare coating from eyeglasses but this stuff works great for that purpose as long as your lenses are made of plastic. I just used it on two pairs today. I removed the lenses from the frames so that the frames couldn't be damaged and then followed the directions I found on Youtube and one pair took one treatment for five minutes. The other pair took two, five minute treatments because the coating was a little tougher but I was amazed at the results. One pair are as clear as the day I bought them and the other pair is older and had a few scratches in the plastic but the damaged coating was completely gone.

This was the first product I've used for etching. It was so easy to use and they came out beautifully. I just loved the ease of using this product and the quality of the finished product.

This was so easy to use. I used my cricut to cut out a vinyl stencil, applied the etching cream and voila... it was amazing and easy.

Needs to be left on a little longer than instructions say. |

Works well! Only downside is that it starts getting thicker once opened for the first time, even if you deal the lid well after use. Other than that, does the job. I recommend leaving on the glass for 10-15 minutes for best etching.

    Works as advertised |

I love love love this stuff. I have etched some wine glasses and sold them. But be very, very careful. It etches almost immediately. So if you don't have the areas that you don't want etched covered very well, it will mess up your glass.

    Did not WORK!! |

Was excited to use this on my cut bottles to make candle holders but the etching cream went on chunky like it was drying up.......I left it on for 15 minutes when it only calls for a few minutes, took it off and nothing happened. Went to try and return it and Amazon policy states that it is not returnable. Waste of 10 bucks.

This product seems dried out. |

It seemed like maybe this product was dried out. It didn't work very well and went on the glass in clumps.
